1950s Vintage Milkshake Cup

I developed this vintage-style milkshake cup as both a personal and technical project. Inspired by my wife’s love of classic, retro goods—and by the nostalgic cups she grew up with—I set out to recreate the design using advanced surfacing techniques. This project allowed me to push my SolidWorks surfacing skills further while demonstrating how everyday objects can serve as excellent opportunities to refine modeling precision, form development, and attention to detail.

The accompanying video walks through the complete creation process, from initial reference gathering to final surface construction and refinement. It highlights how thoughtful modeling of simple objects can sharpen design fundamentals and build stronger CAD intuition. This project not only celebrates a sentimental piece of vintage design but also showcases my approach to high-quality digital craftsmanship.
